The Deaflympic lessons will be held in Ugra to celebrate 100 days to go for the Winter Deaflympics.
The pupils that will attend the lessons will learn about the history of the Deaflympics, disciplines included in the program of the Games, the mascot, the sport venues where the competitions will be held and the champions from Ugra who are getting ready to participate in the Deaflympics as the members of the national team of Russia.
It is planned that more than 50 000 pupils from 400 educational institutions are going to attend the lessons. The main venues for the tutorial are supposed to be in Khanty-Mansiysk, Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk and Ugorsk.
In Khanty-Mansiysk the lesson will be given in Ugra State University. The main speaker of it will be a merited master of sports in water polo, an Olympic medalist Sofia Konukh. During the lesson a video conference with Moscow will be organized, the pupils of the Deaflympic lesson will be greeted by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich, the Minister of Sport of Russian Federation Vitaliy Mutko and the Governor of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra Natalia Komarova.
In Surgut 100 days to go for the Deaflympics will be celebrated in Surgut State University having the address: prospect Lenina 1, building 3. The speaker of the event will be a deaf swimming coach of the Centre of Adaptive sport of Ugra Olga Revyakina.
In Nizhnevartovsk a lesson will be given in Nizhnevartovsk State University having an address: Lenina street, 56. The speaker of the lesson will be a candidate for a master of sports in skiing and winter polyathlon, a coach of the Centre of Adaptive sport of Ugra Alexander Borovykh.
In Ugorsk the event will be held in secondary school #6 having an address: Ermaka street, 7. The main speaker of the it will be a world-class master of sports of Russia, a multiple world champion, a champion of Russia in powerlifting and track-and-field events, a participant of Paralympic games Olga Sergienko.
The events will be held in order to inform the citizens of Ugra about the forthcoming XVIII Winter Deaflympics that are going to take place in Khanty-Mansiysk in 2015.
