The second day of the competitions of the XVIII Winter Deaflympics on the alpine skiing complex “Khvoyny Urman” has finished with the success of Russian team.
In parallel giant slalom our athletes won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Igor Ishatenko showed a very good result in men’s competitions. He won silver while Noboru Harada from Japan got gold. One more Russian athlete Roman Khamitsevich became bronze-winner.
In women’s parallel giant slalom Maria Kapustkina of Russia is on the first place, Cecilia Emma Hanhikoski from Finland got silver and Anna Surmilina is a bronze-winner.
Next snowboarding competitions will be held in the alpine skiing complex “Khvoyny Urman” the day after tomorrow, on April’01. Athletes will be competing in halfpipe.
