Rossiya Segodnya to support Russia’s first Deaflympics

The R-Sport agency, part of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, will be the General Information Partner for the Organizing Committee of the 2015 Winter Deaflympics, which will be held in Russia for the first time. The organizing committee has received applications from 450 athletes from 27 countries. The Russian national team will include 78 athletes from 16 regions. The 28th Winter Deaflympics will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk and Magnitogorsk on March 28 − April 5, 2015 and will feature 31 sets of medals in five sports. Russian athletes have taken part in sports movements for the deaf and hearing-impaired since 1957 and held leading positions in unofficial team rankings.

That’s why we support the Paralympic, Deaflympic games and others.
