People from 17 regions of Russia have taken part in the national drawing contest «Deaflympics 2015. Khanty-Mansiysk. ». Works of the participants were brightly painted so we are expecting to see an outstanding, multi-colored, exciting sport event.
421 work was sent to the office of the Centre of adaptive sport of Ugra from 17 regions of Russia: Krasnodar, Perm, Tyva republic, Arkhangelsk, Volgograd, Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Ryazan, Tomsk, Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl, Ekaterinburg, Yamalo-Nenets autonomous region and different places of Ugra.
The contest has united a lot of people: healthy people and people with physical disorders, professional painters and amateurs. The youngest participant if 4 years old, the oldest is 66. Together with paintings people were sending collages, embroideries and soft toys.
The jury of the contest included teachers of art faculty of the Centre of Arts for gifted children of the North. The chairman of the jury was Alexey Bachurin, a member of the Union of Russian Artists.
In the nearest future all the participants of the project will get electronic diplomas of participation. The winners will also be awarded with special presents from organizers. The best works will be included in the exhibition, dedicated to sport in Ugra that will be opened in Khanty-Mansiysk, in the Museum of Nature and Man from March’18 till April’12.
