«I’ve never watched biathlon races on the stadium. OnlyonTV. That’swhyitwasveryinterestingforme. I was sharing my emotions with other athletes – we were so impressed by the size of the targets – they are so small! I realized that I would definitely miss it if I ever tried to shoot! It was also very interesting to see the whole biathlon complex in general, thank you! Of cause, I’d like to see the Biathlon World Cup races on the stadium, however, I don’t think it will be possible because our schedule of getting ready for the Deaflympics is very busy these days», – shares her emotions a national team member Ekaterina Lyusina.

The bus then went to one of the most famous tourist places of Khanty-Mansiysk – the Archaeopark. Big and impressive mammoths made of bronze have made a strong impression upon the athletes.  Despite of the cold weather snowboarders have spent more than an hour in the company of these animals taking pictures with them.  It is well-known that athletes are superstitious. To get luck every team member including coaching personnel has made a traditional rite – touched the bronze trunk of an animal.
