April 5, 2015 Upon the end of the bronze medal game of the Deaflympics between USA and Finland the coaches of both teams shared their impressions about the deaf hockey tournament in Khanty-Mansiysk.

The head coach of USA Jeff Sauer: Of cause, we wanted to play in the gold medal game against Russia. However, the emotions today were as bright as if it was the final of the tournament. I’ve already been to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Sochi… Khanty-Mansiysk is one of the most friendly places we’ve ever visited. This was a very good experience for our team.

The coach of Finland Jenna Salmela: After the third period I told my guys that now everything was in their hands. It’s up to them to decide what impressions they will make about their play for the spectators and sport fans. I am satisfied with the last period but the beginning of the game dissappointed me. I am leaving Russia with the very good feelings. These are my first Deaflympics and my impressions are very good.
